The other day while I was writing a blog for WGNA about a weekend activity I did with my son Brody, it was brought to my attention that years ago, I would scoff at people who write these kinds of things and use them as content.  They're not wrong, I would have.  If the Brian of 4 years ago could see the Brian now, what would he think? I mentioned a few days ago that Governor Cuomo will be requiring public schools to provide menstrual products for women, but that wasn't the only change he made to public restrooms recently.

I understand teaching children good values and morals from a very young age and you should start ASAP but when it comes to this, I think 5-years-old is a little young. What do you think?

This may be the exact opposite of "effective parenting".  A father of a 6 year old girl was arrested over the weekend after terrorizing his 6 year old by chasing her around the neighborhood in a clown mask.  The Ohio man admitted that he wanted to punish the little girl.

I saw this headline and couldn't help but try to figure out what these parents are talking about. They don't just mean smoking pot in general, they mean while their kids are playing, they're getting high.
