My sister and I used to spend hours watching Nickelodeon, especially 'Double Dare'!  Mark Summers was my personal hero!  We just knew we could handle those Physical Challenges!  And our Mom and Dad would have owned those Family Double Dares...

I have to admit, I'm not a big "Dancing With The Stars" fan, but I have caught a few of the performances over the years. This one, to me, stands out. I have to give it to whoever came up with the idea: it's pretty brilliant and getting a lot of attention on the interwebs.

Have you heard of this "Throwback Thursday"? I guess it was started on Twitter I believe and has since moved onto Facebook as well. It's a simple Idea really, people put up old pictures of themselves and label l them "Throwback Thursday" and use the hash tag, #TBT.

It seems pretty obvious – look at a picture of something that you no longer have and it makes you smile.  But studies show that it brings more happiness than we previously thought.

Because I’ve always lived in the Albany area, I’ve seen so many changes through the years.

I keep seeing these pictures on Face Book with the caption saying something like “Who remembers what this is for?” There are two pictures that caught my eye.

The other day Richie Phillips and I both did a story about National Eight Track Tape Day, which was April 11th. I mentioned about how we could play music from the eight track tape cartridges in our cars, but we couldn’t play records. One of our WGNA Facebook fans, Steve Ryan, told me that there was a car record player.
