I guess those might be fighting words. Maybe residents of other towns may fight this bold statement, but I'll put Niskayuna up against anyplace for nice looking entrances. Proof below
I had this very interesting conversation with the son of a friend of mine. He delivers pizza, and was telling me some of the inner workings of the business. Come on - work with me here. This is good stuff.
I couldn't believe it. We let the little guy out, he squats in the woods for a moment and does his thing. That's his entire experience with "the wild". Otherwise he walks on the street. How did he get lime disease? Well, I guess he's not alone.
Really? Roads completely unplowed in a major town like Niskayuna? I realize I drive in rather early, but I don't get it. I could go on here, but I'd rather sing my complaint, if you don't mind in commemoration of the first winter snowstorm of the season.

It started with an idea. “Let’s have a parade thru the Town of Niskayuna, and have residents meet afterwards right smack dab in the center of town", (which was Niskayuna High). That was 1982. And NiskaDay is still going strong!
It looks like Price Chopper and Hannaford will have some extra competition as ShopRite is planning on returning to the area with 2 stores, the first going into St. James Square in Niskayuna
Spring is here in the Capital Region. Can you think of a nicer place to be than upstate NY during this time of year? There's always a ton of things to do around these parts. But I'm going to add one more to your already overloaded plate-the local Locks comprising of the historic Erie Canal System
