Levack Rant- Enjoying Some Humble Pie
When you love your team out loud like I do sometimes you have to admit you are wrong. It doesn't happen often so enjoy it!

Today starts the first series of Yankees and Red Sox for the 2011 season. The age old tradition of 2 of the games biggest franchises facing off. This year the Red Sox came into the season as favorites to win it all and so far have won NOTHING, ZIP, NADA. So you can expect a huge effort against the Yankees and abuse from me.
In today's View From The Couch I pay respect to all the Red Sox wins so far this season and show some love to the playoff bound New York Knicks.
I am well aware that at some point this season the Sox fans will get their revenge but I am going to enjoy myself in the mean time
In a clear episode of child abuse this evil father makes his poor kid cry because he's the only one in the house with good taste. This is a Luke/Darth Vader moment. This little guy just wants to love the good guys but no! His dad is pushing him to the dark and winless side
It always makes me laugh how the Red Sox fans run their mouths so hard before the season starts. Then they hit a bump in the road and POOF gone. For the last month or so my facebook page was littered with anti Yankee comments. so now that the Red Sux are 0-3 and the Yankees are 2-1 with about 600 homers already all the sox fans are among the missing.
Today starts a the 2011 MLB season as the Yankees host the Tigers in the "House that Jeter built". Here is John Fogerty at opening day 2009 singing his classic "Center Feild".
Gives me chills! PLAY BALL!!!
Opening day of baseball is just about a week away. For the last few months players are either working on their hitting, their fielding or their pitching. Some are also working on other things, such as New York Yankees outfielder Curtis Granderson.
Its Spring training time for Major League Baseball teams in Florida and Arizona. I am a huge baseball fan, and have been for years.
As a sports fan you can always remember where you were when the team or player you love has the achievement that means the most to you.
Pitchers and catchers are still weeks away but the Yankees and Rangers are already going at it. Yankees president Randy Levine had some harsh words for Rangers owner Chuck Greenburg.
In a year that saw the Saints go to and win their first Super Bowl and the Giants stun baseball by beating the Phillies and the Cliff Lee lead Rangers to win the World Series for the first time since 1954 and never as the San Fran Giants, I think it's pretty sad that the things I will remember most are the worst stories.
