Yesterday, Dale Earnhardt Jr. won his first race in 4 years at the same location as his last victory at Michigan International Speedway.

Two weeks in a row.  We saw record setting, blazing speeds in NASCAR racing last weekend due to the newly paved Pocono Raceway and the same is happening again this weekend in Michigan.

Blazing speed.  Everyone knew speeds would be faster and times would be quicker when the stars of NASCAR's Sprint Cup Series took to the track at Pocono Raceway this weekend.  But just how fast was the question.

Yesterday, Kurt Busch was suspended from this weekends races in Pocono by NASCAR for verbally abusing a reporter this past Saturday following the Nationwide Race at Dover. This is not an uncommon thing for Busch as he is very well known to have a bad temper. It has cost him his job with 2 different race teams and makes him a rather unlikeable guy among NASCAR fans.

This week NASCAR's top three series all visit the Monster Mile - Dover International Speedway in Delaware.

The anticipation has been building since last December for the unveiling of the new NASCAR exhibit in Saratoga Springs.  The wait is over.  The Saratoga Automobile Museum takes the wraps off for the public tomorrow, June 3, at 10:00 a.m.

This coming Sunday, two big events in the world of Auto Racing take place.

Darlington is a historic track and is nicknamed "the lady in black". Nascar drivers in the Sprint Cup would love to notch a win at Darlington and have it on their resume. It's the Bojangles Southern 500 and under the lights Saturday night at 6:30pm.

NASCAR is in Alabama this weekend at Talladega Superspeedway.  The 2.66 mile speedway is the largest oval that the Sprint Cup Series drivers tackle and Dale Earnhardt Jr. has five wins there.  But it's been a long time since Junior has won.

The Nascar Sprint Cup Series is wide open this year. Nobody is pulling away and anyone of the drivers in the top 12 in points can literally jump on top with a few good races. Dale Earnhardt Jr. is still in the top 5 as well.

Lately, every weekend there seems to be two big questions for NASCAR fans.  Both are focused in the direction of Hendrick Motorsports.

NASCAR heads to Texas this weekend.  Friday night qualifying found Martin Truex, Jr.  setting fast time, winning the pole for Saturday night's Samsung Mobile 500 at Texas Motor Speedway.  Truex turned a qualifying speedway of 190.369 mph in his Michael Watrip-owned Toyota.  Last year's winner, Matt Kenseth will start second.
