The Saratoga Automobile Museum has announced that its new NASCAR exhibit will feature a "Car of Tomorrow" from Penske Racing formerly driven by NASCAR star Kurt Busch. Some of us have seen cars from the Sprint Cup Series up close before. Known as show cars, these are cars that have been retired from active racing. The cool part here is that the museum's plans call for making a "cutaway" of the this Penske Dodge to illustrate the state of the art technology being used in NASCAR's Sprint Cup Series.
NASCAR held its season ending awards banquet at the plush Wynn Resort as Champion's Week came to a conclusion in Las Vegas Friday night. Tony Stewart and his entire Stewart-Haas race team were honored for winning the 2011 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series title.
NASCAR's Sprint Cup Series runs at only two road courses during the year and one of them is this weekend here in New York at Watkins Glen International. I often get asked who is NASCAR's best road racer? Well the answer sometimes surprises. It's Jeff Gordon.
I wont lie to you , I do like the NASCAR, especially since about 5 years ago when my favorite driver, Mr. Jimmie Johnson began to dominate. Jimmie, does not however run in the "Nationwide" series, so to be honest, I never really watch it
Yesterday marked one of the best-named sporting events of our time, “The Heluva Good! Sour Cream Dips 400 NASCAR Sprint Cut Race” at the Michigan International Speedway. The entertainment didn’t stop there: during the post-race interviews, a TV cameraman positioned behind Kyle Busch mimed slapping around the third-place finisher in his lens. You know, like when you close one of your eyes and pretend to squish the head of someone in the distance. Cameraman stuff. If only we could see it from his perspective.
I am slowly becoming a NASCAR fan. I have fought it but with my boy Brad KESElowski winning, Richard Childress beating up Kyle Busch and Miller Lite being on the side of a fast car I am hooked. On today's Couch we cover the rumble and the race
NASCAR driver Brian Vickers dropped into the Daytona International Speedway for a promotional visit last Wednesday. The drop-in visit was literally just that as Vickers became the first driver in history to parachute into the speedway.
By now, you may have seen this story already. The "Brat" of NASCAR himself, get in trouble with police when they clock him at 128 m.p.h. in a 45 m.p.h. zone. At first, I thought of course its Kyle this kid is a maniac and should have been thrown in jail right then and there.
