I am such a sucker for a military homecoming!  I love them and they always, always make me cry!  So things got a little ugly when I watched the new video from LeAnn Rimes and pop singer Gavin DeGraw for "Celebrate Me Home".  It's filled with tear-jerking clips of soldiers reuniting with family, friends, and even pets...

As a mom, I can't imagine the sacrifice of leaving my family for months, or even years to serve my country.  The amount of respect and gratitude that I have for those who are brave and strong enough to do it is immeasurable! The sacrifice of our military families is huge, too...

So I'm walking out of the Carroll Hill Elementary School this week, having just completed another great musical experience with elementary kids, and this plaque caught my eye
