Country Music Hall of Famer Mel Tillis is recovering from Heart Surgery. The 81 year old Country Crooner, known for the hits 'Coca Cola Cowboy' 'I Got The Hoss' and 'Southern Rains,' is doing fine after a 'routine heart procedure.'
Country Music Hall of Famer Mel Tillis was awarded the highest honor given to artists by the U. S. Government, The National Medal of Arts. The stuttering country performer proudly received the honor at the White House from President Obama.
