As GNA prepares for the much anticipated Lonestar Reunion at Upstate Concert Hall on Tuesday, November 13, 2012, we've compiled a list of 5 facts you may not know about Lonestar.

October is Breast Cancer Awareness month, and a pink spotlight is shining on this cause by multiple arms of the entertainment industry. Country quartet Lonestar are doing their part to raise funds and awareness. The band are helping to corral $50,000 for benefit breast cancer research by doing what they do best -- perform.

As we get set for the Lonestar Reunion Concert with 1077 WGNA on November 13th at Upstate Concert Hall I thought I would throw out some Lonestar trivia and see how well you know this Superstar band.

Every weekday we host Country Trivia on GNA around 11:30am.  Today, we honored a band that has recently reunited.

After a string of hit records like 'Amazed' and 'I'm Already There' many people were shocked when the powerful lead voice of Richie McDonald decided to leave Lonestar.  As we prepare to welcome the reunion of the band to the Upstate Concert Hall on November 13, 2012, I wanted to remind people of why Richie McDonald left Lonestar in the first place.

Lonestar is back with all original members including leading singer Richie McDonald. They are coming to town for a reunion concert for you with 1077 'GNA.

There have been a lot of great bands in the world of country music over the years and for many of you you may find it hard to narrow it down to five. I actually started this list with eight and then worked it down to five, and I hope you agree with some or all of my choices below.

Lonestar is a super group in the world of country music and they have reunited with all the original members including lead singer Richie McDonald. Lone Star is also a legendary brand of beer.

Lonestar is one of the most popular groups in the history of country music, and were missed dearly by their fans. Well, that has all changed now that Lonestar has reunited with all the original members including lead singer Richie McDonald.
