In 1980, the movie Urban Cowboy launched a national 'country club' craze. Establishments like Gilley's, owned by Mickey Gilley, were popping up all over the nation. Inside, people were two-stepping and riding mechanical bulls like John Travolta and Debra Winger.

Saratoga Springs, New York was just named as one of  'America's Greatest Main Streets.' We are happy to announce that this weekend, April 21 and 22, the historic Saratoga Music Hall located on Broadway, above City Hall, will be the host venue for the Northeast Country Dance Fest.
