Druthers Brewing Company announced that it will be running a popular Saratoga Lake restaurant and taking over operations for the next ten years. This announcement comes just a couple of months after Druthers opened its fifth location in Clifton Park.

In 2018 a fire destroyed one of my favorite places on Saratoga Lake called Lake Local. Now under new ownership and a total transformation, a new restaurant and bar is opening. I am anxious to see the beautiful new establishment and we don't have to wait much longer.

After a fire in April, the plan was to open part of Lake Local in Saratoga for the summer. There were too many setbacks so their plans changed. Now they want to turn the space into more than just a restaurant and bar.

The fire that damaged Lake Local - the beautiful beachfront restaurant on Saratoga Lake - at the end of April was extinguished relatively quick and many of us here in the Capital Region were hoping they'd be open for business now that warmer weather has arrived.  Any hopes for optimism - and their delicious seafood - were dashed when the owners recently shared some bad news on their Facebook page.

You want to go to dinner with some friends but then you find out that there's an hour wait, what do you do? If you had NoWait, you could've known that ahead of time.
