Maybe this makes me a bad person but I am getting such a kick out of watching this video over and over. The video is of a Mom reading a scary story to her son and just at the right moment scaring the heck out him. IT is hysterical! Is it a little mean? Maybe but it also makes me want to get my camera out and scare my 5 year old too, I just love their raw reactions.

I really love when people come together to help another person out , even when they don't know them, and even if what these people did seems like not that big of a deal the fact that it went from an idea to a reality so well makes it beautiful to me. Branden Witt is a 4 year old who lives outside of Richmond Virginia and is having brain surgery on Monday. This is the most adorable video I've seen in a while!  I couldn't help but giggle throughout the whole thing! Because I have 2 kids who love to dance, I know it's impossible for kids to NOT do the Whip / Nae Nae dance when that song comes on...

Wow- I remember those days.  You try literally EVERYTHING to get your kid to snooze.  In my time we would put him in a pen and read "Goodnite Moon" to him.  That only worked for a short time, like about a week.  Not with THIS kid?  He's got a future on the debate team.

This little 6 year old's name is Tiana. I am not so sure she is really 6 years old though, from the way she speaks and her message , I think she may be 96. I have to tell you I have always found that children have the most to teach us, and she proves it. All you have to do is look past the simplicity of the language and into the incredible depths of the message.

When I was a little kid, I thought my parents were the smartest people in the world, but not this little girl! This little sassy pants is trying to explain weddings to her dad... She isn't getting through.  

Everyone Lies. We all know it's true but some people lie more than others and some people are way better at it. A new study says that on average people tell about 2 lies a day but some in your own family may be telling up to 5 a day and doing it better than you do.

My wife has been having a very hard time with our son Caden's first of school. I have been mocking her for about a solid week now saying things like, "Guess what they send them home everyday now" and "It's a school bus not a black hole!" The truth of the matter is , I do know what she is going through and it can be a pretty emotional day for a Mom , especially if it is her only

I was always told by my friends that you can make your own playdough at home with just flour, water, etc. I did try it once, but it was too dry and lasted less than an hour plus it smelled really gross! Now there is a solution that is so easy and takes all of about 5 minutes to make from start to finish and the best part is that it smells like jelly beans...

I forget who said it, but someone said that electronics is the currency that you can use to bribe your kids.  I feel that way at my house.  If they don't behave, no computer, no iPad, and most of the time, it works fairly well. I also bribe them to do housework sometimes...

If you listen to me on the radio much you may know my stance on elementary and middle school graduations and moving up ceremonies is pretty simple, they are dumb! I have always said that the praise should wait until at least the  high school graduation. The fact that you are simply moving to another grade or building isn't cause for celebrations and diplomas.
