There was a time the male in a relationship made most of the money and women were left with less opportunity to have her own money. As the years went on women began to make more and had both an ability to help with the household's expenses and even save some of it themselves. Now it has even come full circle in some cases, many women today make more money than their husbands and/or boyfriends and the question of who gets or keeps what has become a little more complicated.</p>
