Sometimes life gets in the way for performers. Sir Paul McCartney, for example, had to cancel many dates because of a nasty virus. Many country stars have been sidelined by vocal problems.  Life doesn't stop Joe Nichols though.

Joe Nichols' 'Yeah' music video is inventive and entertaining. Instead of taking place on an elaborate set, the singer and actors involved in the video actually turn into a real-life comic strip.

One of our very first 'GNA Secret Stars, Joe Nichols, has a new song racing up the charts called "Yeah" and many of you will remember that he opened our acoustic show with that song!

A big congratulations to 'GNA Secret Star, JOE NICHOLS!  He is a dad again! Joe's wife Heather gave birth to a daughter yesterday, and they named her Georgia Blue. Baby Georgia joins big sister Dylan, who's two, and Ashelyn, Joe's 15-year-old from a previous relationship...

Joe Nichols has had quite the 'comeback' year. 'Sunny and 75' hit the top of the charts and was just certified gold for over a half million downloads.

Congrats are in order for Joe Nichols and his lovely wife, Heather. The couple is expecting their second baby together, news that the singer happily revealed on social media.

Arena shows have their place and always will, don't get me wrong. You can't beat the excitement of a huge venue.  But my favorite way to see true musicianship in action is what we witnessed at the 'GNA Secret Star Acoustic Jam at Proctors.  Here are some shots I took from the balcony.

You may not think of Joe Nichols' song 'Sunny and 75' as a big country dance hit, but for people who've been dancing a while, the song is a refreshing change to the usual high-energy, drum thumpin', boot scootin' floor fillers that usually dominate the night.

Before the last fun-filled weeks of summer are behind us, Joe Nichols wants to remind us to capture the carefree days of the season with his 'Sunny and 75' video.
