On Friday I got the chance to hang out with the amazing students and staff of Averill Park High School. It was the day of their Homecoming football game and they were so kind to ask me to host their pep rally! I had an absolute blast!  The teachers and administration could not have been more kind and welcoming and the students were so fun and spirited...

Did you know that in 2013, there were 49.1 million Americans that were unsure of where or when they'd find their next meal? It's something so many of us take for granted: food; a warm meal. That's why the 3rd Annual Capital Region High School Hunger Games is so important, especially as the holidays approach.

WGNA’s 3rd Annual Capital District High School Hunger games are almost here! Throughout October we’ll be teaming up with Morris Ford to help collect non-perishable food items for The Food Pantries for The Capital District and we need YOUR help...

Has this ever happened to you?  You go to hug someone or whisper to someone or kiss them on the cheek, and they move just the right way and bam!!!!  The next thing you know you're locking lips! That exact thing happened to Jennifer Lawrence and her co-star in the new Hunger Games film, Natalie Dormer on the red carpet at the premiere, live on TV...

And the winner of our annual High School Hunger Games this year is... Notre Dame-Bishop Gibbons.. again!

Bethany and the Fidelisaurus took a field trip on Monday to last year's High School Hunger Games champions Notre Dame-Bishop Gibbons School to check up on their progress for this year's High School Hunger Games.

We had special guests on the Sean, Richie and Bethany Show this morning, and they were  a great addition (and very into our High School Hunger Games competition)!

Last year Notre Dame Bishop Gibbons, in Schenectady, won our first High School Hunger Games. They're back again this year, and based on what I saw when I went to visit last week, they're definitely in the running again this year!

Bethany has already visited several of our participating schools in this year's High School Hunger Games, and is planning to visit the others in upcoming weeks. From what she's seen so far, everyone is doing a great job at gathering food for the hungry!

Saturday evening with Mohonasen High School's "Sounds in Motion" marching band musical showcase, and they invited WGNA to be a part of it! Nick and Jess from our street team joined me and we played music and greeted the crowd as they entered the stadium...

On Friday I had the honor of being invited to attend the Homecoming Pep Rally at Schalmont High School to help get the students there all pumped up for 'GNA's Hunger Games! It was amazing!

Fidelis Care has teamed up with WGNA and 10 local high schools to collect as many pounds of non-perishable food items as we can!  The school that collects the most food will win a Flight Trampoline Party!
