There are so many scams out there, but a new scheme has authorities raising the alarm because it's already managed to steal over a billion dollars from innocent victims.
This morning, a GNA listener called Brian and Chrissy to talk about the rumors that another Chick-Fil-A was coming to the Capital Region based upon a sign on a property in Speigletown. Nilcole, who lives across the street from the place that had the entire area buzzing, told GNA that despite the wishful thinking of tens of thousands of people, it's just a joke that someone played on her in-laws.
Internet scams are common, especially on Facebook, sometimes what the headline says isn't true at all and my Mom fell for the most recent one going around.
