A few weeks back, I wrote a blog about cardio machine etiquette and how it is not polite to stare at someone else while they work out. Many of you agreed with my fustration -- some also knew exactly what I had experienced, having experienced it themselves.

I now write to you about something else at the gym -- something that affects not only the guilty party, but the innocent bystanders. Everyone who works out should be aware of gym smells and what they mean.

Cardio Machine Etiquette

The past two days I have tried to be very disciplined in forcing myself to go to the gym. Afterall, after the snowfall comes Spring; after Spring comes summer -- must prepare. However, of those two gym days, I have gotten on the same cardio machine, by pure coincidence, while the same fellow gym goer jumped on the cardio machine to my right, at the end of the row. How does that happen?
