So I was at one of the great schools in the Capital Region - Greenwich High School.  I went there to record a song with the kids. They were great!  However, one girl showed some extra initiative, and she deserves her own article here.  She also gave me an idea...

This was a very special thing that happened and I didn't want to overlook the moment.  It's a very short piece of audio but it really meant a lot to us up there on the stage, and we want you to have a copy of it if you wish

Sheryl Crow is one talented lady.  I really think that she defies labels.  Yes, she's had a ton of pop songs, but if you listen carefully to them, they could have EASILY run on our station. Well now she's aiming her career directly at us, and we're thrilled!

I take a lot of ribbing here at the station for being "the old guy".  I'm a big boy. I can take it. There are disadvantages of being old(er), but one of the great positives is that I can write headlines like the one you just read.  I have been to 19 Countryfests, and am about to experience the 20th!   How many have YOU seen?
