A new restaurant has moved into the old Pearl Street Pub in downtown Albany. It's called the Skinny Pancake and it specializes in all different varieties of crepes.

The pandemic forced Provence, a French restaurant inside Stuyvesant Plaza to close. It just wasn't conducive to take-out. So owner, Daniel Darves-Bornoz, decided the time was right for a change. Now a new concept and restaurant will open called Josie's Table.

I am 100% Italian and love all Italian food and festivals. There haven't been many festivals at all in the past year and a half so I am happy for this Saturday. This weekend Amsterdam will bring back ItaliaFest. The event was canceled last year due to COVID. It will be held on Bridge Street Saturday, September 18th from 11 am until 9 pm. After being canceled last year due to COVID, Lake George Region Fall Restaurant Week is a go this year and it starts this Sunday, September 12th. There are a bunch of restaurants participating in all different ways.

The Great New York State Fair begins today (August 20th) in Syracuse and there are a few things you should know before you go. It is eighteen days filled with food, fun, entertainment, rides, animals, live music, and attractions. Last year the fair was canceled due to COVID but this year they are planning on opening the fair at one hundred percent capacity.
