This is by far the worst flu season New York State has seen in quite some time. It is so bad, that a local Senator is asking that the federal government get involved to monitor the spread of the flu in New York.

So I got the flu this year. I have been in isolation in my bedroom since I was diagnosed. Fortunately, I made sure that my dog Freddie stayed away from me too, and it's a good thing because I found out he could catch it too.

We all know that this cold and flu season is by far the worst in recent memory. We are very cautious about washing our hands and keeping surfaces clean and I still got the flu. Germs are everywhere and now we are being told to not only wash clothing but our winter gear too.
