Country singer Ronnie Dunn – one half of superduo Brooks & Dunn – talked with Taste of Country a bit last week about musicians that influenced him. Among Dunn’s more interesting recent influences: “I love Harrison’s slide guitar on ‘Something,’” the singer told Taste of Country.
Dunn has of course been impactful in his own wide-ranging way, and the wild diversity of Brooks & Dunn covers on YouTube are a pretty-great sample of his influence. Among the YouTube treasures we unearthed: a rocker girl singing a heartfelt cover of B&D’s ‘If You See Her, If You See Him’; a ukelele-toting troubadour singing his dog to sleep with ‘Neon Moon’; and a near-perfect bedroom rendition of ‘My Maria.’ Check ‘em out and more below, and don’t forget to sign up to see and meet Ronnie Dunn in Yakima, WA on July 21!
I don't know if this is a cry for help or what, but I ...I...I'm actually at a loss for words this time. Can you imagine tattooing all your Facebook friends on your arm?
The legendary country duo that was Brooks & Dunn "retired" back in 2009, but the famed band's ex-members Kix Brooks and Ronnie Dunn are still keeping busy.
Brooks is working on a new album and filming a western called 'To Kill a Memory' with "Boots On" singer Randy Houser. Dunn has a new album out and a hit single with 'Bleed Red,' and he'll be touring the nation solo for the next few months. You can sign up on our Facebook page for your chance to win two tickets and backstage passes to Dunn's July 21st show in Yakima, WA.
We got a little nostalgic thinking about all that history, though, so we surfed the tubes and collected what we think are the five best classic Brooks & Dunn music videos. Check 'em out, and let us know if we missed any (or if we're just flat wrong).

So you go to log onto your Facebook account, only to find out that you can’t. That’s exactly what happened to an Indianapolis bankruptcy attorney, whose name is Mark S. Zuckerberg, not Mark E. Zuckerberg the Facebook founder.
If you are on Facebook and you see some interesting statuses today like "Nobody expects the Spanish Inquisiton", "Spam, Spam, Spam Spam,Baked Beans and Spam" or "I'm French, why do you think I have this outrageous accent", there is a reason for it. It is "International Monty Python Status Day". It has quite a follwing as over 205,000 are "attending" on Facebook, including yours truly.

You know when you watch a television show and you get about three-quarters of the way through the show and you really should get going, but you just want to know how the show ends? Well, I kind of feel that way when it comes to my particular situation.
It amazes me every time. The loyalty displayed by WGNA listeners. Even for a stupid thing like a birthday! Heck-everybody has one. What's the big deal, right? But I got an incredible present over the weekend-well wishes from fabulous Facebookers, and I just felt like I had to do something!
