Not only does the largest multi-use trail in the state of New York run right through Albany, but, the largest trail in the country does, too.

Even though we have turned the page into a new year, we are still in the midst of the coronavirus pandemic. We are still being asked to follow social distancing guidelines and now there is a state-wide trail that has been completed to help us still get outside and enjoy nature.

I keep hearing news about this Empire State Trail that will go 750 miles from Albany to Buffalo as well as connect NYC to the North Country. I have a lot of questions but the main one is - why?

For those of you who like going a a leisurely jog or bike ride, boy do you'll have a great trail to do so.

The new Empire State Trail would allow you to bike or hike all over the state.
