Then, after thinking about it for a while, I realized that several country songs have been used to promote products. Country hits have been linked to jeans, credit cards, chips, department stores and light bulbs.

I've seen a lot of great combinations throughout the history of Country Music. However, in this list, I pick two full-time country singers that join forces to equally share in the success of a hit duet.
Dolly Parton recently represented the Country Music industry as a presenter at the Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation (GLAAD) awards show in Los Angeles. The ceremony honors media for their fair, accurate and inclusive representations of the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) community and the issues that affect their lives.

Last April I had the chance to attend an unforgettable night with a diverse list of singers and stars. The event was the television taping to celebrate Kenny Rogers' 50 Years in music at the MGM Grand at Foxwoods in Connecticut. As someone who respects the career of this legend, it was an honor just to see Kenny in person. Then, when you add in the special guests who lit up the stage song after song, I knew I was a part of a once in a lifetime event.
Dolly Parton, a recent Grammy Lifetime Achievement recipient and a member of the Country Music Hall of Fame, is taking off her high heels to pose in authentic combat boots for the Boot Campaign.
