I love Oreos, but I don't like all of the weird flavors they have come out with. These new Oreos are not only delicious, but they celebrate one of my favorite characters.

Most Girl Scouts bring their cookie order sheets to mom or dad's work, this Girl Scout in California decided to capitalize on the folks that would want a quick snack.

Don't get me wrong, I love Girl Scout cookies. Over the years, I have purchased hundreds of boxes and in turn helping and supporting the Girl Scouts. But I have a huge problem with which cookie won the most popular.

This is one of my favorite times of the year. Yes, the snow slows down, the weather gets warmer but more importantly, it's Girl Scout cookie season.

About 2 weeks ago I put a poll out on WGNA.com asking you to vote for Albany's favorite Christmas cookie. I was wondering what would come out on top.

One item in particular might take you by surprise, Kraft Foods has now introduced the Candy Corn Oreo.

I love hearing about these unusual holidays - National Chocolate Chip Cookie Day. The first thing that I thought of were chocolate chip cookies.

What can we say about these two folks.  Meet Tami Lynn Wilson and Kathy Ventura. These are two more examples of the "unsung heroes" of our radio station.  Despite their own full time jobs they volunteer constantly for our charity events.  They man the phones (ok, they "woman" the phones), photograph all of us on our summer cruises-the list goes on and on.

Stephanie Robinett from Allrecipes.com has been a great friend to us here at 1077 'GNA. I sent her a story from WGNA.com about my favorite fudges and told her how happy I was that I  found recipes for all of them on her website. She then took some time to actually track down recipes submitted from the Albany area and rank our top 10 Christmas cookies.
