It's Christmas Eve and Santa has the sleigh being loaded and is getting ready to make the rounds around the world. I'm sure he's "carbing" up on plenty of Mrs. Claus' cakes and cookies so he has plenty of energy for the busy night ahead. I'm sure Santa has a great sound system on the sleigh too and listens to great country Christmas songs while he makes his rounds.

This is one of the hardest things I think I've ever tried to do. There are so many many good songs to choose from. Some of them I just love because they take me back to being a kid, others I find funny and creative and still others are just plain fun to sing. I'm sure you will have favorites that I didn't list here and to be honest, I probably could have argued with myself until Christmas day trying to narrow mine down to five, but I went with the ones that first came to mind.
On December 10, WGNA welcomed Kenny Rogers to the Glens Falls Civic Center. If you read one of my earlier posts, you know that it was a wonderful holiday show that featured some great local talent.
