The day before Thanksgiving is the most traveled day of the year and the TSA wants to remind people who are flying what you can and cannot bring on a plane!! Things you can't bring in your carry-on bag include scissors, box cutters, ice axes/ice picks, knives (even butter knives- see below), meat cleavers, sabers and swords! (Who brings a saber or a sword with you on a flight?! I have no idea either!) They are okay with you putting them in your checked bag, but the TSA doesn't want you to have access to them in flight for obvious reasons! Here are some other things to keep in mind:
Taylor Swift had a big Sunday. After opening the 2014 American Music Awards with a performance, the 'Shake It Off' hitmaker was honored with the inaugural Dick Clark Award for Excellence. To top it off, a music icon presented Swift with the award.
