Bobby Kendall, a 25 year-old Lake George resident with Nashville dreams, won WGNA's “Country Idol” competition at Saratoga Casino and Raceway on June 16, 2011. In a press release, Kendall announced that he's using the money to go to Music City U.S.A., Nashville, Tennessee!
Bobby Kendall passed two panels of different judges to make it to the top of WGNA's Country Idol Karaoke Show. As the winner, Kendall receives $5,000 and a performance spot on the Center For Disability Services Telethon.
On Thursday June 16, WGNA hosted the final round of the Country Idol Karaoke Show at Vapor in Saratoga Casino and Raceway. Taped for LOOK-TV, the 20 contestants, out of the over 100 that auditioned, performed in front of a panel of four judges to win $5,000 and a performance spot on the Center For Disability Services Telethon.
