The Albany area has a lot of places to watch fireworks for the 4th of July. If you’re wondering where you can go watch, look no more - we’ve complied a list for you. Nothing matches the enormous fireworks display at the Empire State Plaza but that doesn’t mean there aren’t some other awesome places to catch them!
2012 is a big year for big country Shows in the Albany Area. We have already had Rascal Flatts, Billy Currington, Zac Brown Band and Sugarland in town. Next Week is Brad Paisley's "Virtual Reality Tour". July 7th will bring us CountryFest 2012. August 19th will see Toby Keith and Brantley Gilbert at SPAC and we will end the year with Carrie Underwood's "Blown Away" Tour at the Times Union Center on December 4th.
Parking is very hard to find in downtown Albany for residents who live there. Hopefully some relief is coming to those afflicted by this problem.

It is a great time to sports fan right now. The NBA just kicked off their playoffs. The NHL is in full effect with their playoffs and every game has been incredible. Major League Baseball is a month into the season and already fantastic. NASCAR is moving right along with many great races. The only thing missing is the NFL, but their is enough off season stuff going on to make football fans happy.
Restaurant week starts this week in Albany. I don’t know about you, but I will take any reason to have a “date night” or even a night out with friends, especially when it’s this cheap! Starting TODAY, you can have a 3 course meal for $20.12 per person!!! What a deal!
