May 29, 2012 This storm system is producing high winds and has the potential for golf ball size hail which was actually reported in the Lake George region earlier this afternoon. It is now moving through Schenectady County and into Albany County. The 1077 'GNA studios in Schenectady are receiving heavy rains, and high winds at about 50 miles per hour.
April 25, 2012 Earlier this Spring there was actually a brush fire in Rotterdam. That is very unusual.

July 26, 2011 Wow! That was a wild thunderstorm that ripped through the area a little while ago this afternoon. The clouds were ominous, the thunder and lightning were booming away, and the rain came hard.

May 26, 2011 We are now under a Tornado Watch from the National Weather service until 10pm. The counties covered by this warning have grown since my last update. The skies are getting dark and the winds are really picking up. There is definitely something big coming quick.
