9/11

We were flying to our vacation destination recently from Newark airport when I happened to see the beautiful NYC skyline. Perhaps I showed my stupidity, but I kept staring at that big structure protruding in the center. Is that what I think it is?

It’s hard to believe that the horrific day happened 12 years ago, September 11, 2001, also referred to as 9/11.

I though I had heard of everything, but apparently not. There is a new very dangerous form on pranking people online called "swatting" and a local 12 year old boy was a victim of it.  What is "swatting?"

How could ANYONE forget this day?  I'd be totally remiss if I didn't chime in.

9/11 is a solemn day and many people choose to either note the day with a personal moment of silence, or perhaps together with others. Here are some memorial services we're aware of in the Albany area.

Yesterday was the first Sunday of football action in the NFL and of course yesterday was the 10th anniversary of the tragic events of September 11, 2001. Before every game yesterday there were ceremonies honoring the lives lost and the brave men and women who were just doing their job.

During Sunday’s ceremony marking the 10th anniversary of the terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center, Paul Simon gave a haunting acoustical performance of ‘The Sound of Silence’ while some onlookers wept.
