A 22-year-old man from Clifton Park was spotted by Waterford Police allegedly speeding on Saratoga Avenue in Waterford, early Sunday morning.

The Waterford Police started to chase the suspect and attempted to pull him over. The car chase ended at the intersection of Vliet Street and North Mohawk Street, in Cohoes, with the suspect crashing the vehicle into a concrete stair case. The suspect got out of the car and ran.

The Cohoes Police were called to help with the situation. After a search took place, the suspect was found. He was discovered inside 31 Harmony Street. He was also hiding in an unusual place – An entertainment center.

Tyler Aaron Schecter was sent to the Saratoga County Jail after his arraignment at the Waterford Justice Court. According to the story from News 10 ABC, Schecter ended up with a laundry list of charges including Aggravated Unlicensed Operation Of A Motor Vehicle first “E” Felony, “E” felony charge of DWI (he allegedly had a prior DWI conviction), Refusal to take a breathalyzer test, Unlawful Fleeing A Police Officer In A Motor Vehicle, and several others.
