Plan on having your meal a little early in the afternoon. This way, when it’s time for clean up, you’ll be done and ready to rest, which leads me to my next tip.

If you’re going to be one of those early birds and going to start your shopping day at those obscene early hours of the morning, long before most people even think about getting up for work on a normal day, get plenty of rest. Go to bed at an early hour so you get enough sleep. If you don’t get the rest you need, you may end up missing out on one of those bargains that you set out to get, and someone else may get that last item from the store shelf. Wouldn’t that just make you mad?

Wear the proper clothing. If you’re going to be in line outside of the store before they open, you will be cold if you’re not dressed properly. On the other hand, if you get to the store and they’re already open, you probably won’t need as many layers of clothing, although you may not find a parking space close to the building, and then you’ll need to wear the warm clothing anyway. Try to make sure the clothing is comfortable, too. This could be a long day.

If you’re planning on hitting more than one store, plan on extra travel time. Black Friday tends to create traffic jams near the malls and stores. It may take you a little longer to get to your next destination.

Make sure that you make time to eat. There’s nothing worse than shopping on an empty stomach. That Thanksgiving feast that you had will already be worn off.

And finally, make sure you have your store flyers and advertisements in hand. You’ll be less stressed if you know exactly what you want to get.Now check this out - Blackfriday2011.com. Let’s face it; this is your battle plan. You’re at war with all those other thrifty shoppers all going for that same fantastic deals. You want to get it before they get it. Now get ready to do battle soldier. Those sales await you. By the way, do you have any survival tips for Black Friday shopping?
