This so seems like something you would see on the CW but in fact the latest TV installment in the superhero genre will be on CBS this fall. Supergirl, played by Melissa Benoist,  is coming to the small screen and it makes me wonder what you think of the idea.

I don't think I am a fair critic as I have really never been a fan of any of the Kryptonians that have found there way here to our planet. I think that even as a kid I found the sheer excess of superpowers and very little vulnerability to be boring. I like when there are obstacles to get over and more weaknesses to hide or conquer, like Flash cant fly, or Aquaman is virtually useless out of the water etc.

I am however pretty supportive of female superheroes and am glad that another is finding it's way back into the mainstream. No, it's not because I am a feminist or worry too much about the glass ceiling, I think I am just a fan of the different perspective. I feel like after watching this trailer that that will be a big part of this TV show and I think for that alone , I may give it a chance. Take a look and tell me what you think.
