Sugarland’s Jennifer Nettles Will Star as Dolly Parton’s Mother In Movie

I knew it! I just knew it! The first time I ever saw her on stage at Saratoga Performing Arts Center several years ago, I said to myself, "I  bet she'd be good on Broadway or in movies".   Wow, I hate being always right! lol..

Jennifer Nettles is one talented lady.   She's extremely theatrical on stage. When she sings, she really sells the lyrics.  It definitely transferred to Broadway very easily. The reviews are in for her role in the musical "Chicago",  and according to this article in Forbes, she is "killing it on Broadway".

Well now I guess she landed the part of Dolly Parton's mother in a made-for-TV movie about the life of the great singer, actress, businesswoman extroardinaire.

It's going to be called "Coat of Many Colors", titled in honor of one of her famous self-penned hits.   The movie is going to be on NBC, and will air around the holidays.   I really can't wait to see how this turns out. Good for you, Jennifer!  I knew it.  I just KNEW IT!!
