Raymond Waldron, a lifelong Saratoga County resident, was a former teacher, coach and war veteran who fought in the Korean War. He passed away in 2012, but now there’s one thing that was done in honor of his legacy. A street in Saratoga Springs has recently been renamed in his honor.

In the story from WNYT, Waldron was a man that would always tell young people to make sure they should be active in their local community. He spent almost 40 years working for the Saratoga Springs School District, as a physical education teacher and later as the school’s athletic director.
