In May of 2008, Sugarland followed their hit single "Stay" with the release of "All I Want to Do," the first single from their Love on the Inside album. The duo's Jennifer Nettles and Kristian Bush wrote "All I Want to Do" with Bobby Pinson and took the song to No. 1 on the country charts in August of '08 -- their third chart-topping single. The song has been certified platinum and earned a Top 20 place on the all-genre Billboard Hot 100 (No. 18) as well.

Below, Nettles explains how "All I Want to Do" -- decidedly more upbeat than "Stay" -- bridges the gap between the two singles.

It's fun and lighthearted, and it feels like summer. And where "Stay" left off, with just a guitar and a vocal, this starts off with just a guitar and a vocal. Obviously it kicks in, so you can move yourself around and dance, but I think it's sort of a nice juxtaposition, but also it shows a bit of an evolution.
