Has this ever happened to you?  You always think that the other guy would have this problem and not you, right?  Well, our credit card got hacked by a rather unlikely source.  I will explain verbally and musically, cuz that's how I roll

Yes, our Visa card got hacked into.  It happened while I was sleeping last week.  Someone downloaded a song off of Itunes to see if it worked.  And it did.  My wife Dorrie and I immediately took on our normal household roles the next morning.  She canceled the card and did all the paperwork, and I wrote a parody !

But seriously, folks, we are still waiting for a replacement card.  It's so annoying.  I'm still not clear as to who's at fault here.  I don't even care anymore.  You just wonder how it happens, and more importantly, how to prevent it in the future.  I did find this article at ezinearticles.com that explains one person's view on this and how to prevent it. To sum up, Robert Siciliano says:

Your ultimate responsibility here is to check your statements very closely and look for unauthorized activity. Read your statements online biweekly as opposed to relying solely on your monthly paper statement, and refute unauthorized charges immediately.

Good point!  So enjoy the music, shmuck! Meanwhile I'll be checking the mail desperately  for that new plastic to come in.  Ever happen to you?  Would love to hear your tale of woe.  Let's have a pity party.  I'll buy the food - in cash!
