Yes, our Visa card got hacked into.  It happened while I was sleeping last week.  Someone downloaded a song off of Itunes to see if it worked.  And it did.  My wife Dorrie and I immediately took on our normal household roles the next morning.  She canceled the card and did all the paperwork, and I wrote a parody !

But seriously, folks, we are still waiting for a replacement card.  It's so annoying.  I'm still not clear as to who's at fault here.  I don't even care anymore.  You just wonder how it happens, and more importantly, how to prevent it in the future.  I did find this article at ezinearticles.com that explains one person's view on this and how to prevent it. To sum up, Robert Siciliano says:

Your ultimate responsibility here is to check your statements very closely and look for unauthorized activity. Read your statements online biweekly as opposed to relying solely on your monthly paper statement, and refute unauthorized charges immediately.
