Don't believe everything your friends share on Facebook and Twitter, and for heaven's sake, please read articles before commenting and sharing them!

Although that's my personal advice to you, I'm sure Steve Burns, who played Steve on Nickelodeon's "Blue's Clues" would tell you to do the same.

For the second time in his life, the internet killed Steve when he was perfectly alive and well.

Once, several years ago a rumor spread on the internet that Steve had died from a heroine overdose.  It simply wasn't true.  But, frankly, I felt it was pretty believable, and I did believe it until today when I saw that he had died in a car crash on Halloween.  Then I thought to myself, "Hmmmmmmm.... I thought he was already dead."  So I did approximately five minutes of research (which you can do, too - it's free!)  and realized that not only had he been alive all along, but he didn't die in a fiery crash over the weekend, and, as he pointed out on Twitter, he would never drive a Dodge Charger... just to be clear!

Just let that be a lesson to you, don't believe everything you read.  Steve is alive.  The story was from MSMBC, not MSNBC - even on little letter can be important.  Have a great day!
