If you missed "Pet Connection" today on the " Sean and Richie Show", here is another chance for you to take a look at a couple of great pets up for adoption. We would love to thank our sponsor The Animal Hospital in Guilderland for their help in getting these pets new homes. Let's take a look at the pets featured today.

Harley , a Pitbull/Terrier Mix-was adopted but had to be returned to the Shelter several months later because her family had to move and their new landlord does not allow Pit Bulls -- breed discrimination stinks! Harley was born in 2002; she is good with kids, cats and other dogs. As you can see from the pictures, she LOVES to swim! Harley tested positive for Lyme on June 13, 2011 and is currently being treated for the same. Harley arrived at the Shelter on August 24, 2010.

Kurt is a very handsome Retriever mix ! Kurt was one of six dogs that arrived at Estherville from GA. The kennel Kurt was in was shutting down and he had nowhere to go, everyone at Estherville knew that we'd be able to find him a home in no time so agreed to take him in.

Kurt is a big boy (about 70 pounds) and has tons of energy! He is believed to be approximately 2 years of age (born in 2009). He is good with children

(they should probably be older children because of Kurt's size and energy level), as well as some dogs. As far as we know he's never been around cats so we do not know how he would be with them.

Kurt looks forward to being someone's best buddy!

Kurt arrived on March 30, 2011. He is neutered and up-to-date on shots.
