Some Albany Area Teachers Earn Highest Salaries In NYS

There are some Albany area school districts where the teachers are paid pretty well. 

They’re actually making some of the highest salaries in New York State. The story was reported in the Times Union. 

Some of those school districts that are on the list are South Colonie, North Colonie, Albany and, Niskayuna. These figures are part of a 2013 report put together by a Buffalo business publication called Business First.

Some of the higher paid teachers in Albany earned between $50,000 and about $97,000 per year. Now before some people go on and start cursing about these salaries, keep in mind that the teachers are the people who help to try shape children for the future. Most teachers have also gone through a lot of schooling themselves.
