Ski Season Isn’t Over Yet…Ski This Saturday

It was a great season for skiers in the area but you don't have to accept that it's over yet. There is one mountain that will be open on Saturday for skiing. Yes SNOW skiing. According to the Times Union, Whiteface Mountain says that they will still be open for skiing this Saturday May 5th. This will be the latest opening ever for the resort. It would make it one hundred fifty five ski days on the mountain.

We had quite a long winter with record snow falls on the mountains. The snow fall total for the season was two hundred twenty eight inches and they got an additional six inches last weekend. So Whiteface Mountain will be open at 9am Saturday, May 5th. They will offer $15 lift tickets.
