Lou Roberts
“Bro.” Lou Roberts. Working in radio since I was 14, with various formats including COUNTRY (obviously), oldies, top 40, gospel, news, big band and adult contemporary-YEAH PLAYIN’ THOSE GREAT BARBRA STREISAND AND AIR SUPPLY TUNES). I’ve been at WGNA since May,1989 part time, until they got the courage and put me on full time in January, 1990 (on Elvis’s birthday, to be exact. PLEASE NO JELLY DOUGHNUTS-Boston cream doughnuts only)
I graduated from Colonie Central High School in 1976.
Maybe I dj’d a party, wedding reception or charity event for you. I’ve been involved with various clubs in the area, for hot country dance nights.
Favorite food-Chicken (Especially bbq)
Favorite ice cream-Chocolate (yeah it’s boring, BUT I LIKE IT)
Favorite beverage-Ice water (or Coors Light)
Favorite tv shows-ANY CSI shows, Seinfeld, Friends, Family Guy, The Soup, M.A.S.H.
Most disliked tv shows- Most reality shows (don’t we want to escape from reality and NOT watch it?)
Favorite stuff to do-Spend what extra time I have with my wife, Linda, hanging around with my friends and family, and working on computers and electronics. If there’s any other time left, thinking of ways to abuse Scott Blaine (kind of a hobby we all have at the radio station)
