The National September 11 Memorial & Museum is charging visitors $2 each if you reserve passes online or by phone. I am not sure how I feel about this $2 fee.  Sure, it's only $2 but does that defeat the purpose.  It's supposed to be a spot to morn for those family members who lost loved ones.  And a spot to mourn for those who simply want to pay their respects and thank our firefighters and police officers we lost that day for their sacrifices.

We are charging people to mourn? None of our National Museums in Washington D.C. charge, thought the will act donations. Family members of some 9/11 victims are speaking out against this fee as well.
