Should I Sign A Prenup? – Daily Dilemma

Here is Today's Daily Dilemma:

I just got engaged to the guy I've been in a relationship with for five years, and it's been pretty hectic.

He just proposed three weeks ago,and last week he handed me some prenup papers.

He has a good job, and he comes from a great family, but it's not like they're Rockefellers or anything.

He told me it was just so we could both protect our assets in case something goes wrong in our relationship.

Aren't prenups only for people who are super rich? I really am not sure how to react to this, I mean, is there something I don't know?
