I am a crazy dog mom. I know it and I fully admit to it. I bring my dog Shadow with me almost everywhere because it gets him out of the house as well as social interaction but mostly because I feel bad he's missing out on all the fun! When I lived in North Carolina, I would take him to outside seating restaurants and he was welcomed with open arms (or paws as it were). He's really mellow and just wants to be with people and with his momma! lol

Right now, it is illegal In New York State to allow a dog in a restaurant unless it's a law enforcement animal or an animal for a person with disabilities but one law maker wants to change that! What do you think? Should pups be allowed in outside seating areas of restaurants? Included in the law are some rules for servers washing their hands if they touch the pooch, etc. Read about it and let us know what you think below!
