Taste of Country Music Festival Singer Hillary Scott, of Lady Antebellum, and Countryfest singer Sheryl Crow were fun additions to the 2013 season of ‘The Voice.’

Both serving as mentors to the contestants, with Sheryl on Team Blake and Hillary on Team Adam, the rivalry between Blake and Adam was even more intense than usual. To recap the Mentor/Battle rounds, here’s what intern Stacy Jo had to say.

“The first night of the battle rounds had so much talent. The guest coaches were Hillary Scott from Lady Antebellum for Team Adam, Joel Madden of Good Charlotte for Team Shakira, Sheryl Crow for Team Blake, and Pharrell Williams for Team Usher.

The best performance, in my opinion, came from Blake Shelton and Sheryl Crow’s side. Holly Tucker and Michele Martzin battling it out to Carrie Underwood’s ‘Blown Away!’ Unfortunately, Blake had to let Michelle Martzin go, and no one stole Michelle to keep, so she she went home too! After all the great singing, I realized I really liked Holly Tucker. So, let’s see if the Morgan Twins can stay my favorites, or do I have a new one?”

By the way, that’s Lady Antebellum pictured above with Sheryl Crow at a music event in 2010.
