Shenendehowa School District Receives Non Specific Threat

A non specific threat made against the Shenendehowa School District has local law enforcement on campus this morning.

According to the districts website, the threat, which mentioned a bomb, was made last night. Local law enforcement informed the school district late last night. The districts school buses and school buildings were all swept and checked prior to picking up kids for the school day.

The statement explains that with the increase of the creepy clowns in the area, this threat comes from an online forum "the clowns". Other schools were mentioned as well, not all the schools were Capital Region based.

Again, the district buildings and school buses have been swept and cleared prior to kids arriving this morning. The safety of the kids is the main priority. Police presence will be noticeable today.   The district also said he presence of police dogs is also possible.  Teachers are on high alert and anything suspicious will be investigated.
