Once again we have come to the end of another week, so that means it's time to break out another great country song and video from the past with this week's edition of Flashback Friday. This Sunday is Canada Day for our neighbors up North, so I thought it would be quite appropriate to break out a song from one of my favorite Canadian Country singers Shania Twain. We go back to 1993 for Shania's very first single "What Made You Say That".

This was the lead off single of Shania's debut self titled album.  The song didn't break the Top 40 on the Country charts but the video got her alot of attention. It wasn't until her second album "The Woman In Me" where she teamed up with Producer and Ex-Husband Mutt Lange where she had success and eventually became the queen of country music in the 90's. The "Shania Twain" Album would eventually go platinum after the success of later albums.

Shania is still keeping busy these days. She had her own show on the Oprah Winfrey Network, was featured on Lionel Richie's "Tuskegee" album singing the Classic "Endless Love",  is currently working on a new album and will headline a show at Caesar's Palace in Las Vegas for the next 2 years starting in December, much like Garth Brooks does at the Wynn.
