Several Condemned Buildings In Schenectady To Be Torn Down

The city of Schenectady will be tearing down 150 condemned buildings.

Schenectady Mayor Gary McCarthy has put plans in place and has come up with the finances to demolish many of the Electric City’s unsafe and uninhabitable eyesores. The demolition of the properties will start sometime in December. According to the story from WNYT, the buildings will all be torn down over the next year.
