We got the sad news this week that Gene Wilder passed away at the age of 3. To honor him, theaters across the nation are having showings of 'Willie Wonka' and 'Blazing Saddles'

While no theaters in the Capital Region are showing 'Blazing Saddles,' you can catch 'Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory ' in Colonie tomorrow! (Saturday, 9/3).

This is such a great opportunity to share this legendary film with your kids, seeing it on the big screen!  It is a pretty much a given every parent watched this movie with their kids at some point, and what a great way to see it!  And if your family has seen it already, this is a great way to see the film the way it was meant to be seen.

Regal Colonie Center Stadium 13 & RPX will have two screenings of Wonka tomorrow, Saturday 9/3 at 2pm and 7pm.

Gene's passing is sad news but this is one good ting to come out of it. His work will always live on, and what a nice way to honor all the great things he did - with some laughs.
